What words are used on twitter?

As part of my research it is clear I need to study the most commonly used words and see can these help in creating music. There is an interesting post on the 500 most used words. However using 500 would be both impractical and hard to portray musically. These are some I have chosen that might be practical to use:

Displaying Data from the Web

Another interesting installation that I found in my research was Listening post. Listening post reads data from chat rooms and blogs in real time and displays these uncensored as art.

There are many justifications for this project but the most interesting I find is 'Listening Post allows you to experience an extraordinary snapshot of the internet and gain a great sense of the humanity behind the data'. I would like to reflect a human aspect in my project in a similar fashion.

Emotive Web

One of the sites I was investigating was wefeelfine.org This is an interesting page, it categorizes different blog posts according to emotions and other factors. It then portrays these in a an interesting visual interface (which even includes web). For an example, check the video:

Not only this an interesting approach to analysing data from blogs but it is done using Flash. Not only this but they have an API available. It might be possible to integrate this and the flash midi server to create Generative work. This is the next Angle I will be studying. I finally got the Midi server up and running and that's what I'm currently working on.
